My friend wants to change the head unit in an '89 T-Bird. Does anyone have a wireing diagram or can tell me which wire colors are the + - and remote turn on?

DONT CUT UP THE WIRES!! Use a harness that will fit onto the plug that plugs into the back of the factory head unit. The harness will also have all the wires labled on them so you wont be guessing/testin on them. This will cost about $10-$15 and is well worth it!!

Plus this will make it easier to put the factory radio back in it if they desides to sell it.
