Street Class Electrical systems... part 2 ???

Wayne, here are a few more questions that I believe have not been covered regarding street class. Simple yes or no should be fine.... Thank you.

#1 Assuming 1 battery is legal in street, can that battery be a 16 volt?

#2 can it be one of the dual post 12/16 volt? (racing batteries)

#3 Can a product such as the Jacobs Accuvolt or US Amps Optimizer be used in street??

#4 Assuming Accuvolts and Optimizers are legal... can more than one of them be used as per manufacturer recomendation?? (using more than one allows for more current capacity)

#5 Can the factory alternator be re-wound to a higher amperage?

#6 Can the factory alternator be replaced by a larger oem version of higher amperage?

#7 and lastly... can I just hide all of this stuff and not tell anyone about it anyway???

1. No - The characteristics of the battery must be similar to that of the OEM battery. While it is acceptible to have a higher CCA rating (almost all replacement batteries have higher CCA numbers than the OEM), the voltage of the battery must be the same. In addition, the replacement battery must fit in the OEM designed tray / battery well and should be a recommended replacement part for the OEM battery.

3. I am not familiar with these devices. Please provide url for more info.
