Hello Alma. I was scaning over the post about the music on your web page, when I started smelling smoke (my brain as it began working). If you ever have a need for new or updated music, maybe you could have a fellow dB drag racer design you some special tunes. There is a competitor (Daniel Lenz) that writes, arranges, and performs his own music. Just a thought...

Sid, I just thought of something. I had a song rewritten for me in 1997 by a very good friend. I will not identfy him, but if he wishes to confess, he can. This is it:

The Devil Went Down To DB Drag ---
(to the tune of:The Devil Went Down To Georgia)

The Devil went down to DB Drag, he was lookin for a soul to steal.
He was in the mood to take a few and he was lookin to make a deal.
He came up on this little old lady in a Bronco & playin it hot,
and the Devil jumped up on the trophy stage and said "lady
let me tell ya what". "I guess you didn't know it but I'm a DB Dragger
too, and if you care to take a dare, I'll make a bet with you".
"Now you have a pretty loud system girl, but give the Devil his due,
I'll bet a woofer of gold against your soul, cause I think I'm louder
than you". The lady said "my name's Alma and it might be a sin,
but I'll take your bet and your gonna regret,
cause I'm the loudest that's ever been".

Alma tune up your car and play your system hard, cause hell's broke
loose in DB Drag, and the Devil's got a brand new car.
If you win you'll get this shinny woofer made of gold,
but if you lose the Devil gets your soul.

The Devil pulled his breadtruck up to the DB Drag Racing track,
and then fire shot from his fingertips as he opened up the back.
He placed the mic on the dash and then he gave an evil grin,
then the 64 incher started to blast and it sounded somethin like this..

Boom BOOOOOOOM BOOOOOOM BBBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

When the Devil got through playin, everyone knew he wasn't no joke,
cause his amps caught on fire, his woofer went up in smoke.
Then Alma laughed and said, "well your pretty good, ol' son,
now just sit down in that chair right there and let me show ya how
it's done".

The Devil bowed his head, cause he knew he'd been beat.
Then he laid that golden woofer on the ground at Alma's feet.
Alma said "Devil just come on back if ya ever wanna try again,
I done told you once you son of a bitch,
I'm The Loudest That's Ever Been".
