Hey is this Skip? I didn't get my truck finished in time. But I did make it to M-PAK after the show had ended and found out I won't be able to compete in stock so now I've got to rebuild for super-stock. I'm going to try and be ready for the Show in Macon on the 22nd of FEB.

Okay so the ken stereo shows will be slap shows and not idbl? I look forward to competeing in them but what will change now that slap show runs it, how are the classes set up? Are they going by idbl? some one strait'in me out! Also will slap shows have finals and stuff like iasca???

The Ken's show last year were actually held by SLAPshow, just under the organization name of IASCA. Everything is pretty similar to how IdBL used to be.
These first few shows are like beta runs testing out classes and a few rules.
There will be a Finals for SLAPshwo which will be held in Atlanta this year. To my understanding as long as you complete the judging process you will earn 10 points. You need 80 points to qualify for the Finals.
Can't wait for this show to get rolling.

This section is to talk about IASCA and now SLAPshow competiton. If you wish to complain about something general please post it in the appropriate section.

Let's get back to the subject.

well they are 3 different kind of comepetitions at SLAP show events: car show, SQ, and SPL. Each are seperate, however you get a discount on entry fee the more you enter.
They are removing RTA from SQ and adding an unlimited SPL portion to the SQ competiton.

Hope this helps.

I know SPL was $30 entry, which means Terry might have to start accepting Visa so I can enter.

Anywho, I want to see the final class decisions so I can decide if I wanna change my interior any. My subs should be here late next week, my amps I believe may follow shortly behind. I'm gonna try to have it playing by Daytona, but if its ready and doing well, that will be the debut.

adam, do you still have your box in the trunk,if so you still will be the same class but in stock trunk class so you wont have to go against guys with walls , but there is no power rectricion yet so there are still guys who think like my self and put a butt load of power and batteries in ,i wish you good luck this season :D

Yeah its all in the trunk. I was in stock 161-260 last year. The no power restriction is ok with me i have a couple batteries in my trunk and alot of power. I really like the no wall idea.

adam , goodluck to you keep the box in trunk and you will be in the top of your class in slap 161-260 class that is a good number you are doing but the meter that slap is using is 3-4 db's down from at finals iam not complaining cause everyone is down along with me it makes it more even
ive also found out this past weekend that usac is still using audiocontrol meter and its also 3-4 dbs down good luck to all who plan on competing in slap this is gonna be a fun year

Thanks alot man. Good luck to you also. Im definitly going to keep the box in the trunk i considered building a wall after iasca finals but im going to give it a whirl again this year with the trunk. I guess if the scores are down 3-4 dbs for everyone thats ok. As long as the meter isnt fluctuating throughout the day.

REMEBER GUYS : SLaP is not part of iasca so when you compete in SLaP you are getting points for SLaP and not for iasca ,iam not competing in iasca as a member any more so i will recieve any points for it i would do iasca for fun ,iam gonna focus on doing SLaP events ,so good luck to all who are competing and go vote on were iasca should have its world finals .ill see you there but not competing good luck :D

I'm going to try and do both slap and IDBl. I'm still a member of IASCA till july so I might as well not let it go to waste. Hopefully the two finals wont be very close together.
