this section is kinda dead so just thought I'd come up with something to post.
Whats everyone planning on for next season? Are we gaining any competiotrs from any other organizations? Losing any competitors?

Well I'm not sure about gaining or losing any competitors, especially with other organizations. It seems that latley there has been a lot of competitors competing in many if not all organizations. I personally think this is great considering all the different rules and classes.
It is pretty dead in here, but it's the off season for IASCA as well so it will be a little slow.

Ben I swear of you compete in my class again, I am gonna s**t. I am going to ADV 1.
2 csp-15's and eight cc-d2400's, in an '89 Civic Hatchback. I should have bought Jay's and just replaced the product huh?, nah I have to build it:)

Well most likely it looks like I'm going to have to use my truck to compete next year. I'm going to do a cut-through on it and run 2 dual 2ohm 10"s (leaning toward Fosgate), and 2 earthquake D2's.
If my father buys his Dadge Ram like he wants to I can tow my jeep cherokee to shows, then sky's the limit.

Yo davy do you need an extra civc hatch for parts? I've got one sitting in my front yard with a blown head gasket that could be yours for most likely next to nothing.

I'd like to know what is being changed between IdBL Adv and Ult classes. I got tired of waiting on redoing my Civic, so I just started redoing it to the rules of Ult 1-720 from 2000, but with only 2 15's. Maybe I'll get lucky and they will create an Ult 1-360 class for all the competitors with modified interiors that got complained about by Adv people because they didn't have the balls to build a car.

Yeah, everyone is waiting on the new IDBL rules. So far, no word.

A reply about new IdBL rules from IASCA:
The IdBL Rules have not changed and will not change for the forseeable
future.
Any further questions, please feel free to contact me.

So, there will be no changes in classes? For instance, they won't be creating a 1-360 ULT class?

According to the e-mail quoted above, it looks like there will be no changes.

I think you meant me, but its an 89, light blue 4 door. It was at IASCA finals.
According to the e-mail quoted above, it looks like there will be no changes.
That blows, I'm gonna have 2 15's in a 4 15 class..........

Why not competing anymore? Was yours the car with the 2 RFL 15's and what looked to be a power supply on the passenger floorboard?
ThunderForce SPL
12-10-2001, 08:51 PM
Yep that was mine, and it was a power supply in the car, but it was only in there to keep people from borrowing it without me knowing. And who knows, I may compete again, I do have a auto invite to defend my title for finals, and that sounds tempting.......... Ill ever tell!

I was the one with the light blue 4 door Civic with 4 15's that had no labels on them, and the only person in Adv 361-720 with factory glass (being changed over winter).

when will the brahma 15 be out? and 10? i was with a guy at idbl finals who swore up and down that you had some experimental subs... i was trying to tell him that those were just adire tempests but he swore that companies only send out experimental subs in plain white boxes with american flags... smile.gif very impressive score considering the limited power and sealed boxes.... cant wait to see what you can do with brahmas.
thunderforce spl.... would be a shame to lose you... since you are leaving i could fine a good home for your equipment if you wanted to donate it :D

The 15 is due in spring for public release, however I'm getting mine in January. We'll see how they hold up. The 18's are due late spring, and the 10's I'm not sure about. I'm gonna be running A LOT more power this year, with a whole new design.
This is what I've got so far, for the most part:

The new install starts tomorrow!!! I'm going to be doing a new set of kicks hopefully angled a bit better this time, new enclosures built into my doors for some 8's, extra tweeter pods in the a-pillars, and 4 CV strokers....ok no CV strokers but some kind of 2 or three sub set up cause I'd really like to cap out this year. Gonna try to only run 2 amps this year the biggest 4 channel that I can afford and the biggest sub amp that I can afford(class d or whatever since I don't plan on using the subs during sq judging) Also plan on grabing a new dual 30 band and 3 way electronic x over....so i've got my work cut out for me.
BTW winslow...what class are you running next year? Just wondering

Unfortunately, the console I just built blocks the port, so I get to REBUILD a new console.
