hey loyd,i got a hold of another 97.3 and was wondering which would be loader,3 12w7's with 120 inches port or 3 10w7's with 180 inches of port?second could you design a box for which would be loader(97.3 on each sub).Thanks Noah

noah i'm thinking 3 12's would be your best bet,(from lspcad program) we can get some more port area out of that box if need be ;)
just let loyd and i get crazy with fiberglass and ducttape :D

based on power alone I'm gonna argee with Loyd. the 10's should have more excursion thus more displacement with the power you have over the 12's

im only going to be able to get about 14"high 48.5" wide out of my cut through.i am in search for 155 now since we hit 150 on the x.

It would need a helk of a lot more excursion to match the cone area difference of the twelves.

noah now remember what you told me that one time with the guy that reviewed all of the w7's, and the 12's had the highet output capabilites of all

instead of worrying about the w7's why dont you change to elemental sp's ;0) j/k well noah i agree i would try to fit all three 12's and maybe making your cut thru a little bigger you have some room on the sides dont ya?

the measurements i gave before is the max i can cut.i'm running 2 12's with 120 square inches now.i'm wondering how a third 12 with no port gain is going to gain more than 3 10's with 60 more inches of port.
