Im running somewhat of a high powered system which should pull about 150amps at its peak. I have an 160amp ohio generator alt and just a regular interstate battery right now. I dont plan on running my system w/ the car off, but i might concider running th amps @ 2ohms mono all the time. would my electricla system be okay if i just replaced the interstate w/ an optima when pushing the amps 2 ohms mono? how about 2 ohms mono just for burps? I heard you can kill an amp by pushing it too hard and not feeding it enough current, i just want to make sure i don't do that.
