i dont see why i can't, but can i simply split the cable and control both amps with one control rather than trying to match them individually?

I asked Casey about this. He said theoretically it is possible, but that there aren't any splitters available that are wired correctly.
If you find differently, please let me know

I've been meaning to try this on the memphis amps (same as x-fire), but haven't had time to yet. If you get to it first....please post your results!

Im going to have to do the same with my 2 Power 800a2's. Just use one of those splitter things for the phone( if you have a phone that was 2 lines). It's almost like a y-adapter or something.

I don't know how well that is gonna work since the knob actually adjusts a preamp resistance in a circuit. the knob is in the middle of a circuit, it recieves signal as well as sending it. The knob may 'confuse' the amps.
Think of it this way; You have a tank of red water and a tank of blue water. these lead to a common tap like garden hose bib that has a hose splitter on the other end with 2 hoses going to 2 empty tanks. If you turn the tap on you can vary the amount of water through it, but can you ensure that you will get red water back out of one hose and blue out of the other, or will you get purple out of both? I'm guessing purple...
