modifying your amp????

i was wondering, what it means to modify your amp. could you give me some examples of what this is and how to do it, if it will get me more power, i will do it hehehe

so many ways to modify an amp. shut off protection helps. respool inductor windings, new output transistors, many many ways to alter amps.

I talked to a guy that has a bd1500.1 and he took off somethin inside the amp to make it push almost 3000 watts rms, but it does void the warranty so i never really asked him what how to do it cause im scared to *uck up my amp
