they are selling many of these online with warranties. i was wondering how good they are. is this a good alarm for me because i don't want all the fancy features or is there somethign similar to this but better quality?

The warranty part is not true, that's an older model and not supported under warranty as I understand it, particularly when sold on-line by unauthorized dealers or resellers. If you're not sure, check with our customer service dept. at 800-876-0800.
