in the front i have two 6.5's on each side and have been having trouble with location. drivers side always seems to be a little louder.the only way i finally got it to sound equal was to run the to on drivers side in series and run the two passenger side in parallel.is there any image isues with this set up that is not good??

How does it sound from the passenger's seat?

I would think that the fix that you have mentioned will only remedy the problem that you are experiencing in the drivers seat... this may not be an issue for you - but ideally the imaging should be equally good from both the driver and passenger seat.
