I had a website from a fella on here that had tones from 20hz up to 80hz and I lost it in the computer reformat.

Looked on Limewire but couldnt find many quality ones.

Anybody know wher I can find some tones?

FYI go ahead and d/l those tones, but you loose tenths of a dB by using mp3s instead of an original CD. Buy the real deal.

Get a tone generator that produces the files as .wav or download them as .wav only (pertaining to what tempe said about mp3 quality)

leave your email, i have a zip file ready that has 20 to 99 hz tones in it, tey are mp3s i think, so if you need them for spl, don't bother, but for general testing, i'll be happy to forward them to you.

Thanks guys! I only use them for comps, and I don't take it too seriously, JUst like to see what my setup will do daily.

I use a program called Goldwave that does it great.

I generated 2 sets of the same tones for 2 different reasons.

The first set of 20-80 i generated at full amplitude for comps.

The second set of 20-80 i generated at 3\4 amplitude which is the average peak for music so i can adjust settings for music as well.

You can use goldwave for tone bursts as well for comps.

It can generate square waves too if you dont care about your equipment, [Smile]
