hey guys well since i got the amp for my components installed ive been gettin an annoying whining noise from all my speakers/tweets and thats 8 of em so its ANNOYING and when i press the gas pedal it gets louder. then i had got my first set of jl vr525 installed up front and it was much more faint but i think its because they turned the gain down in the front. The shop told me to buy a sound filter so i did and i hooked it up and it did nothing only time i got rid of the sound was when i turned the gain all the way down on my amp for the front and rear but then there was barely any sound. People are telling me its a bad ground...could that be it and how do i fix it?a nd if its a bad ground is it from the amp from the components or the headunit?? thanks guys my headunit is alpine iva d300

I had this problem.

I never got it fixed completely though. It happened in the first system I ever had that I got installed at a discount place (I learned a hard lesson). I took it back to them and had to spend more money on a ground-loop isolator, which lessened it but didn't solve it.

That might give you some clues about what the problem is, because I sold the car and the system before I ever figured it out.

r the power and rcas ran down the same side////they shouldnt be..the wire in the midle of rcas r u using it as a remote turn on.. u shouldnt if u r ... r the grounds of the amps short and to a clean metal not over paint.. r u running extra grounds from the batery to frame,,chasey,,and motor. u should ..r the grounds the same size as the power wires ..they should be..i think that covers it all if all this is correct then i would get a new deck because somthing in the deck is causing a ground loop.... im new to this so i might be wrong so if i am some one please say so
