it powers up and in about 10 seconds starts whining. thanx,pj

Sorry for the slow response. Well, Ill bet i know this whinning noise. Its kinda high pitch and when the volume is low or the CD is on pause/mute, it gets very annoying, am i right?? From what i heard, thats a power supply giving off its audiable noise, it is a sign of an amp about to go bad. ID have it checked out at a reputable shop.
