What type of car do you drive????? Is the cd player sitting on the seat, or is it in the dash?? Did you use a backstrap? Is it ISO mounted??? Give us some more detail!

Ok ,,,, My deck is a kdc711 i bought it about 9 months ago brand new and it has been skipping for about 4 months now. At first I thought it was the weather but its 70 degrees now and it still skips!!! I had a local retailer install it for me so I don't know how they did it. I asked them for help and they told me that it was dirt to go and but a cd cleaner so I did and ran it through 4 times in a row and it didn't help at all. So frustrated and confused I asked again and they said with my current ammount of bass it is normal for it to skip!!! My question to you now is how do I go to db drags this summer if it skips its driving me crazy???

If you are not handy with that type of thing, I would suggest taking it to a competent shop and having them check it out for you.

Also, how much bass is there? How much power & how many subs? Does it happen on bumps in the road also? We'll get you closer.
