To start off I have an Alpine CDA-7893 h/u which is where my problem is. I just recently pulled out my entire system to do some sound deadening and upgrade some of the wiring. After putting everything back in and getting everything set back to where it was prior to this my problem occured my h/u will no longer play ANY burned cd I have. I never had a problem with it before and don't understand what the deal is. It plays regular cd's just fine and I've tried a laser cleaner and still nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try resetting it. Its the really tiny little button by your rotary encoder (volume knob). It's very small, you'll need like a ballpoint pen or a needle or something to push it. Just have the HU on, and push the little button and hold it for a couple seconds and the HU will reset. Try that out. That's all I can think of. I have the CDA-7894, which is your deck, only it plays MP3's. If that doesn't fix it, then I don't know what to tell you except get ahold of Alpine and see if they can offer any assistance.
