over xmas, I bought the DEH-900R CD headunit. It sounds great but I'm beginning to a experience problem (bugs) with it's the sub vol.

2. When I first turn on the radio, the subs don't begin to play until I either turn the vol up to 15 (out of 40) or go to any of the bass menus (x-over/level menu). I'm using a 4 channel SoundStream amp; channels 1 and 2 are powering the front speakers while channels 3-4 are bridged to power the lone 10' RF Punch Power sub. Two RCA cables are being used, one for the front speakers and one for the sub between the headunit and amp.

Thanks,

After increasing the Sub Volume to 15 does it then 'click' in and you can turn it back down or is it always inaudible below 15?? Many of the Sub Volume controls on meodern decks have LOTS of range for those people with WAY too much power!!

hi,
once i reach 15, the sub stays on no matter what the vol is. once i turn the unit off, then i have to turn the vol up to 15 to hear the sub.

Bobejuice that was the most bad a$$ deck. I had to sell mine to pay some bills.

You ever have a problem with the bottom right of the screen not working cause of the face not sitting in all the way. just wondering.
