I got a new 400a4 Punch amp for Christmas, upgraded my power cable and hooked it up in place of my old small amp to my subs and all it plays cds fine, but when on the radio static flares through my component speakers when the bass hits. What should I look for?

I also got a problem with the back of my truck cab making a nasty vibration noise when the hard low bass slams. Any suggestions there?

I've not seen this problem with a lot of amplifiers, but, some amps leak RF, it is a by-product of the switching power supplies used today. If the amplifier is close enough to your antenna, it could very easily find it's way into your radio. If your antenna is located in the rear of your car, try locating your amplifier as far away from it as you can, remember that even if the amp is near the antenna wire, the RF can enter it.

STILL waiting to hear a GOOD pair of HLCD's!!

If it dont fit, force it... if it breaks, it needed to be replaced anyway...

Yea, that makes sense, I have my amp under my seat as far back as it will go and moved my antenna wire back too but is there anything I can use to insulate the wire from the interference?
