I have an alpine MDA 7755 minidisc player, a 12 disc CHA 1214 AI net changer. Had it hooked up fine in my dodge neon, worked great. Changed everything into my chrysler concorde, changer will not play sound, it recognizes cds, just wont put out sound. Took the changer to Fastrak, (authorized alpine service and repair) and they thought it was b/c of a knick in the cable. So, i purchased a new cable, hooked it up today, of course, no worky. Went to fastrak, took the cable back, had them test the changer again, worked, had them test the md players input (ai net connection) that worked, then we ended up taking everything out of the car, and testing it. worked fine outside the car (in their test area.) put it back in the car, the changer still wont send sound. The player plays sound from the radio fine, just not the changer. All the wires are correct, doublechecked them. I think my car is haunted, any ideas?

If there's one thing I look for in cases such as yours, it's 12 volts where it needs to be, it is possible that the remote turn on is not putting enough to turn on what is needed, it's also possible that a poor ground will cause strange things like that.
Making sure each connection is fully functional is tasking work, but.... that's what may need to be done.
Something as simple as a corroded connection from the battery to ground return may be the culprit.
