Just went for a test drive tonight, my 2 15" L5 in a 4.8cf per chamber in a ported box. Using a Visonik X900XD amp, its hook up to 1ohm. Tune about 35-25hz, dunno where its at. Anyways i turn it to 20, lights dont tim to much (depends on the song),but when its up to like 25-30hz(its loud!), my LIGHTS DIM. So the choices are is a 1capacitor right for the amp? If i got a battery, dont have no clue where the hell i'm gonna put the thing, every space is taken in the back of my car. So should i try the capacitor, see how it goes?!?! Or any opinions!!! I was considering getting a lightning audio digital cap or maybe a rockford
dont have a optima battery, just using the car battery...

If you beef up the under the hood wiring your dimming will decrease alot. The wiring has been the best thinf though. an alt will help too. I did all this and last linked an optima to my 81000d and no more dimming. I have a cap too which helped just alittle.
Good Luck
