I'm a hiphop producer and my main way to check levels in my mixes is in my car system. The problem is that in the car, I can't hear the high bass notes in my beats nearly as well as on the equipment I create them on. [Frown] I hear the deep bass notes rather well though. What could it be? Maybe it's my subwoofers. I got 2 12" American Pro chrome Bass Machines (WS9012). 600W a piece. Can anyone shed any light? Thanks a lot. [Confused]

Also, anyone ever experience these?

How are they? Thanks! [Wink]

when you say high bass notes, are you speaking of notes above 80Hz, if so then your mid-bass spks. would produce those

I really like those Volfenhags. I'ma get them next month. I was thinkin about gettin the 4-channel 1000W Legacy amp to go with them. Not the Sapphire series. The LA series. Is that not a got choice? What do some of ya'll recommend to power the Volfenhags? [Confused]

ok here it is THIS IS ALL MY OPINION IM NOT BASHING EQUIPMENT OR ANYTNING......well i would not recommend volfenhag subs neither legacy amps.. im not bashing this is through honest experience. The legacy amps suck truthfully, my gf had one that stated 600 watts or so i think it was the la420 or something like that. Every couple of days it would mess up, after a little while it blew.....so she bought a 100 dollar pioneer amp that stated 200 watts and it kicked the **** outta the legacy. For the volfs they are not made very well ..."in my opinion"...I dont know if anyone else would recommend these but i would recommend lightning audio subs "for a good beginners system" I like their equipment, im sure it is not the best but I think it is better than anything you stated.
AS for the amp I wouldnt really know what to recommend but not legacy...

the fact that it is a bandpass box isnt as much a problem as it PROBABLY being a pre-fab, ready for any sub bandpass box. you could get O.k. sound with not so good equipment (like legacy) if at the very least your box is made for the sub that is going in it. Also try aiming it different directions.

oh ya, is volfenhag german for "pyramid"?
