there is a whining noise coming from my left/rear pioneer TS-G1647
Mounting Depth: 1-5/8"
Tweeter Protrusion: 3/8"
Sensitivity (Efficiency): 92dB (1W/1m)
Frequency Response: 35 - 22,000Hz
Cutout Dimensions: 5"
Impedance: 4 ohms
There is also a bass blocker on it

what could be the problem it is only coming from one speaker?

Does it whine when you step on the gas...or does it whine all the time. If it whines when you step on the gas...then you need to reground.

thanks for the info and it is whining everytime i step on the gas sounds like i gotta f****** bomb in the car like im on SPEED

Could be one of two problems then...

1) relocate your ground and/or strip the paint off of the grounding point.
2)move your RCA's away from your power wire.

forget the grounds and mute the amp with muting plugs then work you way up the siganl chain

thanks everyone i got rid of that whining noise but know i can hear the pop everytime i change the station or disc track it's not my subs or anything cause they aren't in the car what else could it be? my crappy HU?

if unamplified---- and they just run off the stereo try puting the HU on a isolated power supply[small battery/bench supply]. does it still pop?
