ok my faceplate on my jensen mp3510 HU is acting funny. it started a few days ago. when i turned the volume up to any level it would go down till it hit zero. then i tried to turn it back up and it was a little hard and i really needed to push the button in. also when i was driving it did the same thing. and then i had a MP3 disc in and it outta nowhere started to skip to the next track...i think my buttons are wore out, but i only have it since mid janurary. is there a way to fix this? or do i need to send it back. jensen service is pretty much $hitt*.

If its doing all that you might need to send it back.. I wouldnt recommend trying to open anything up unless you are extremely comfortable doing that.. If the CD is skipping sounds like it might be an internal problem also.

my alpine did that except it went up instead of down.........gets your attention real fast @ 5am when you start the car in the morning before work...........your buttons are stuck. it took 3 years before my deck started having that prob. i took it apart and cleaned them and it helped for a little while till i sold it.

ill give it a try. i went to start my truck and was drivin wednesday and had my cd player off and all of a sudden it turned on and started to fast forward thru songs. and the volume went up till 20ish...i like my jensen, but im really gettin disgusted. i tried to take it apart (faceplate) and it doesnt come apart...

jensen HUs suck. i took mine apart and the button pieces are broke....now im out one hu, it works but like to do what it wants....im so pissed...

ok tried reset button, worked for o 5 mins... actually it worked for 2 days. but then i went to start it up after going on some errands and i turned it on and it wouldnt respond to any buttons i touched, i pushed power to turn it off and the dam thing FF thru the song!!... it did it a few times then worked good so far (knocks on wood)...ima try to call jensen service(rolls eyes) should be a nice waste of time... funny thing is my jensen amp is workin perfectly and took a literal pounding...
