waz up I have 3mtxThunder500012ohms 10's wired in parral,bridged to a mtx2300x.(600x1)with 4 awg monster cable runing about 4/5 of the way to my 2300x and 8awg finishing it off.
I also have a .5 cap too. and it is a 2 amp sytem.the other amp is a Thunder4320(50x4).
and the battery is a omptima red,top kind of old and a stock alt.and my amps need more power.when i have my lights off and a/c off and is playing loud and i slow down and my amps cut off and on until i ref it up or take of again it will play again. and when i am on the gas it is fine even with the lights on and a/c when i start slowing down and rpm's drop and the cars volt meter drops down in red and silence.how can i check my batterey and alt to see which one it is. and a copuple of days ago i when to strat my car and it was dead not even any clicking just dead and nothing was on so i dont know wich one it is the batt or alt. o ya it is all in a 94 chevy camaro z28.and iam pretty sure this what is causing me not to be able to hit 140 db's.so if any one can help me out. give me a holler.

Well not 100% sure here , but 99% will have to be close enough .
The alternator in your car is either going bad or is not high enough output to produce that many amps, a simple solution would be to buy a high output alternator , most aftermarker alternators are based on a gm case so it would be an easy no hassle swap

One trick ive heard of to test ur alternator is to start your car and pull of the negative battery terminal if the car keeps running the alternator is fine if not get a new one i think thats right good luck
