ok...I'm not sure what this is. I have a pair of Shocker Minis. I noticed at a recent comp that at high volume the left one would make a NASTY noise (topped out at 141...thought I was going to cry...my old Rockfords were way higher). when I looked at them at home, it sounded like the dustcap was hitting something inside the motor. If I pushed slightly on the cone, the noise went away, even at "medium" volume. I didn't want to try a higher volume for fear of breaking my finger, or poking a hole in the cone.
any thoughts? and on a positive note, when I pulled it out of the enclosure, and played it free air at a very low volume to see if I could see what was vibrating, my D2 burned up...woo hoo now I can't even drop my RF subs back in.
