I am tryign to install an amplified glass mount antenna where it cant be seen(im shaving the antenna)so Im limited in my choices. I tried under the headliner...too much interference. I tried under the a-piller on the pasenger side....not enough room. Any suggestions?? There is also a way to turn the aplifier on too but I cant get it to come on. My guess is that it needs some kind of power source...there is a black wire comming off of the antenna body that is labeled 12V. Does that need to go to some constant 12V source?? Like maybe the cig lighter??
Thanks for your help

i obviously dont know wha kind of car your working with considering you didnt tell us, and for the wire i recommend tapping off the red wire on your deck which is the switching(accesory) 12v source.
