Aight after some more testing I found that if I turn the gain all the way up on a really high bass song and touch my finger to the woofer I can feel the speaker moving. I tested the voltage with a meter and from what I can tell the amp is getting the right amount of power. Someone please help.

also, i dont know what kinda cd player you have but, check your cd players settings, is the sub controls all the way down? or faded?? try hooking up the subs in a friends car to see if they play, if they do, then its not the subs and its the amp, then hook your amp up in a buddies car and see if it works, if it doesnt, your amp is fried, if it does, then its your wiring problem, hope that helps.

A friend of mines 10 did the same stuff with a PG amp i sold him. The difference here is he was using a high level imput then using the eletronic crossover to put a low pass signal. I think it has somthing to do with imputs if anything. Not Incomming voltage. Try running it at full range and see whut it does.

use a test signal like a walkman to see if the amp is the problem or something upstream

I checked the wiring and the ground seemed to have rusted a little bit. I switched the ground spot and the amp still didn't work. Then I swapped in my other amp and everything worked fine. So it seems like something is wrong with the amp itself. I've tried switching the crossover to LP and to FULL, connecting to each channel, and using FRONT inputs and REAR inputs and nothing seems to work except the subs move very little with the gain all the way up. I don't know if it has speaker level inputs but maybe I'll try those. What the heck happened?

take it to a local car audio place and have them look at it, youll have to pay to fix it, but atleast your not out an amp.
