My system is as follows :

Phoenix Gold ZX500ti Amp
Phoenix Gold Bass Cube
Phoenix Gold Pro Line Driver
Alpine 7873R Head Unit
Diamond Audio M5 6.5" Component Speakers
Diamond Audio M5 12" Sub

When I am driving this setup hard I am finding that after a while the high frequencies from the left channel disappear. If I turn the volume down I can hear the high frequencies return again, then it will be fine for a while and then it will go again, and so on and so forth.

This problem only occurs when driving it hard, I have found that the problem seems to occur quite often on a particular selection of tunes I play.

I have been advised it could be a power issue, or perhaps an issue with the left hand channel crossover.

Any advice you can offer would be great.
