NO CAPS LOCK PLEASE!!!!
Anyway, in reply.....try plugging the RCAs in BEFORE you turn the amp on....it's not too good on the amp to plug the RCAs in after you turn on the amp.

Does this mean it's not good to have
everything on and playing full volume
when you hook up your power wires to the
amp?

what you need to do to fix this is: install a high output alternator directly to the power lead of the amp(make sure you have at least three farads of capacitors in line with the 00 gauge wire used to hook it all up, THEN crank up the volume and plug the rca's in, that will fix any problem you amp had (operator malfunction ).
Seriously this is a very bad thing to do, all your doing is feeding your speakers DC power, this is very bad !

By following the above suggestion, all problems with your system will be quickly resolved, for better or worse. I would also like to add to the above statement. While doing the above, also make sure you have a 1000Ohm resistor on the negative cable of the amplifier, just to make sure the power supply gets all the power it wants. This way, you should get a pretty good arc from the amps power supply to chassis ground.

STILL waiting to hear a GOOD pair of HLCD's!!

If it dont fit, force it... if it breaks, it needed to be replaced anyway...

lol...I wonder if the poster thinks you are joking...Cause you are not. Well just plug them speakers into the wall and you dont have to worry about them poping in the car anymore....But make sure you leave them out of the box and dont unplug them till they smoke..Then you know they are broke/burnt in..
