i have 2/0 wire running from trunk batteries to my alt plus my batt to the alt alt, how does everyone hook those huge ring terminals to the back of the alt when the positive screw on the alt is less than 1/4 long???

sorry i meant 1- 2/0 wire from by trunk batts plus my stock battery wire to my alt
