Hey, heres the story. Ok i went out and bought 2 xtant x1244's and a x1001, the subs are in a sealed box. So i had them about a week and all of the sudden one sub blows so i unhooked it and then the very next day the other sub blows, so i send them back and the guy at the store says dude the amp is turned up to high so i figured he would turn them down. So i got them back about a week ago and the same thing happend today!!! The guy says the amp is turned down but still it shouldn't blow bcause the amp's rms is 500 watts and thats the same on the sub, but i am just curious if xtant just sucks or what other problems i could look for, thanks.

Hmm... something sounds fishy. I have the exact same subs and amp as you, and I can't blow them, I've tried. I let them go full blast on a burp 2 different times and they barely got warm. I blew up one of my subs when I first got it at USACi finals, but I think it was just bad (lasted about 5 minutes) as it was one of the first one's made. They replaced it on the spot and I've been bumping on them since then. I can't even get my subs to bottom out as I don't have enough power from the X1001. Sounds as if you have something majorly wrong with the wiring/box. By the way, when I had them tuned low they sounded awesome, and now in a competition only box, I did a 150.8 certified and a high of 153.8 (street 1-2), so its damn good equipment. Call Xtant and ask for Alex Jordan and see if he can help ya.
