A while back I hooked up my CC-D2400 to my Shocker Extreme 12 in my 89 Civic with stock alt and crappy battery (On 4 awg wire mind you)...runing at 2 ohms...it wasn't even as loud as when I ran it off my Bazooka EL1500..lol
Now...I bought the amp used from a dude online...and since this happened I got a new car...a 2000 Hyundai Tiburon...I was wondering what you all think the reason for the extreme quietness is when the amp was in the Civic?? Do you think it was just because of the crap electrical system and it'll be fine when I get it in the Tiburon's better system with sayyyy....1/0 wire?? Or do you think there may be a problem with the amp and I should have it checked out before I even install it in the Tiburon??
If I left out any necessary info shout it out...thanks for any help.... [Confused]

any extra batts? sounds like you have other issues to address first you say everything is "crappy" the best thing in the system is only as good as the weakest link in the system.. other than that you could have a bad amp

No extra batts...and I realize that it definitely was starved for power...but my Bazooka EL1500 was louder than the CC-D2400...LOL...regardless of power supply shouldn't it be the other way around??

If you cant support the amp..dont plan to get any power out of it. Like was said. Might want to look at other issues before you say the amp isnt loud. I dont own one but I have played with one and it isnt the most powerfull amp out there its FAR louder in the proper setup then that bazooka.

Are you sure you are runnignthe right ohm load, the concept makes most power at 1 ohm, so maybe check that....

Well like I said I already realized I'd have power issues and I was just checkin it out temporarily...but I mean the Bazooka amp was WAY louder...lol...
Actually I had it running at 2 ohms...the extreme I'm using is dual 1...in series...pretty soon I'm hoping to get a dual 2 15 so I can run 1 ohm...
So you guys think I should just worry about getting a better power supply to it before I have it checked out to see if it's messed up??

I have my concept runnung off my stock 90 amp alt, no extra batt's but running that amp at 2 ohms you arent getting full output, which I am sure you are aware of anyways...
