So I have a set of Orion HCCA 6" Components and a set of Orion Concept 98.1 Components. Well at the time I bought these they were professionaly installed which meant they had a 3 year warranty. About a month back I sent them in for service only to find out Orion was bought out by DEI and that these speaker sets are no longer under warranty.
What I'm wondering is if there are any places out there that will do Orion service? I have heard of a company that Orion used to go through for their parts on the East coast that will service old Orion equipment but don't know the name.
Probably wasting my time trying to service these speakers but damn these are some nice speakers and cost me a fortune when I bought them new. Don't want to give up on them just yet.

Well the one set of speakers I have are the Orion Concept 98.1. Orion doesn't even make them anymore and have no way to fix them. If they honored the original 3 year warranty though they would have to fix/replace them somehow.
The second set of speakers are the 6" HCCA components and they won't fix them unless I send them the entire set of components. Well I'm not about to do that because all that is broken is the crossover.
Basically I'm just looking for a company to send in the broken parts and just fix what I give them to fix. Also, I would have to pay for shipping and handling sending them into Orion. If Orion makes me send in the entire set it will get costly. Just doesn't make sense to me to have to rip out the components that are still working fine that I had professionaly installed only to risk the components being damaged during shipping to Orion. Then have to pay out for shipping and also pay them to fix the crossover.
Solution: Since writing my first post I decided it would just be cheaper to buy a used set of 6" HCCA components. I will use the crossover to replace the one that is broken and use the mids to replace the concept 98.1 mids. Will have 2 leftover HCCA tweeters but oh well it is easier this way and not much more expensive after all the hastle.
