I JUST GOT A NEW TERMLAB AND ITS HOOKED UP BY THE MANUAL, IT ALL WORKES.. THE ONLY THING IS THE MIC IS 5-6DB LOWER THAN ALL THE MICS I HAVE BEEN ON THIS YEAR INCLUDING AUDIO THUNDER WERE IM CERTIFIED 152.1DB FOR STREET 1-2... TROUBLE ON TERMPRO CHAT TOLD ME I COULD CHANGE THE K-FACTOR SO IT READS HIGHER, HOW DO I DO THAT AND WILL IT HELP.... I JUST WANT IT KINDA CLOSE TO ALL THE OTHER METERS I HAVE BEEN ON SO I CAN TWEEK AND TUNE AND REALLY KNOW WHAT DB IM DOING...

If you just bought it, (from Wayne, it should be calibrated correctly). But if it is 5db off from what you know your score should be, then you can adjust the k-factor to get it where you think it should be. First go to the Termlab screen, and then click on the Hardware, at the top of the screen. Depending on the number of mics you have click on the edit button for the mic you want change. You will se a screen that has a K-Factor number at the top right hand side of the screen. Increase this number by 1 and save it. Repeat this process until you have a db reading that is equal to your score that you would normally get. Please keep in mind that this is not the correct way to calibrate your mic. But it will do what you want it to do.
