I have a power 1000ab amp and it is the older style not the george foreman style.... The problam is is that no out put comes out of the amp but once i turn my car on the amp gets hot rite when i turn my car on............. Can somebody please help me out?????????

it sounds like it's grounding somewhere it shouldn't be... but not really... hmmmm. if it were grounding before the amp, the fuse would blow. if it were grounding after the amp, it would be fine. but it kinda sounds like the amp is caked.... does it ever smell bad or anything when you do it?

That is the thing it doesn't smell bad at all...... Once it turns on it gets really hot and no music comes out of it at all.........
