hi, i'm new at this, i got LMS by LinearX, BassBox Pro program by Ht-Audio and SPL162 (SPL Meter) by Goldline.The problem is, what should I do if I want to know my frequency resonance of my car ? If I want to build a SPL enclosure? [Frown]
Please hlp, I got 2 RF punch HX2 and Orion HCCA 275R.

As my understanding goes, you should find yourself a solid driver in a sealed box, with a wide, smooth response curve. Set up the meter, keep the deck volume steady and move through the frequencies until you find the loudest frequency at a given volume. Try not to play it to hard; you're not going for max spl, you want clean unclipped output. If it's a larger vehicle, you may want to throw an old box in there to eat up some cab volume to clean up response a little bit, and simulate the full sized SPL box. If I'm wrong on any of this, the experts oughta correct me [Wink]

And if, by any chance, that flew over your head at all, take one of those fosgates and throw it in a sealed box of whatever size they recommend. It shouldn't have any huge peaks or valleys in response. Be sure to sweep low to high, from the 30's through the 80's. My car hums sweetly right at 37 hz and a guy I work with's car hammers 165+ up at 67hz or so.
