i have a 93 ford explorer with a pioneer deh p5200 in the dash i was wondering if anyone could instruct me on how to remove it from the dash so i can hook up my amp is it hard do i need special tools?

does that explorer have the radio mounted behind the dash? I think it does in which case you will have to remove the radio bezel which also goes around your instrument cluster and down past the parking light switch. then remove the face plate and the trimring on the radio, then use the two metal "keys" that came with the radio to unlock it and pull it out, if you cant do it, they take it to a local shop for some help.

Ask the local thief for help, he'll have it out in a jiff. Pretty sure you need the key, also theres a brace thats hard to get at holding the hu in place. Good luck.
