a razor is best for stripping.
there are hammer crimpers available for large gauge wire connectors. i have one. they are pretty handy.

You can use dull bolt cutters for a crimper.

I use hedge cutters to cut 4 ga and 0ga, then a regular razor works best for me

when im using somthing over 10guage i use the connectors that are HQX Compression. As in you have your connector and somthing that screws into it, you put your wire through the ring, fold the wires over it and screw it into the terminal until its tight. This often the best in connection and is 100% reuseable. The ones i use in my car are PG ZeroPoints, you can find them on their page, downside is th cost 12.50 a peice.

sounds weird, but i have always used SCISSORS! kinda like how a pipe cutter works. i just keep twisting the wire until i feel the blades hitting the wire. plus its great to get down into the wires if u got a connector that is a bit small (like i've heard the knukonceptz stuff to be). so far ive only crimped up to 4 gauge.

i use a simple no name stripper/crimper thingie. just use the largest crimper slot. its not big enough, so i simply line the pin centered on where i want the crimp to go...simple.

Thats what i have been using since i have been 6 building stuff. Everyone looks at me werid when i use scissors but they get the job done. And to crimp i use a hammer and my driveway. [Razz]
