Arent' you the guy with the "team Ice" post? And you claim your power woofer blew out the front window of your truck? I've been in the business for a long time, and have only seen one instance of a window being damaged by any speaker. It was at finals in Dallas, and a guy with a horn pointed directly where they were taking spl readings cracked his window with a 3500Hz test tone. Never seen one blown out though...

STILL waiting to hear a GOOD pair of HLCD's!!

If it dont fit, force it... if it breaks, it needed to be replaced anyway...

yeah it looked really cool but cost alot. my cousin and i were at a local small show i put on at the lake here. when we were setting up the show my cousin was showing off the system! and to all you guys that run gust one sub you know how amazed some guys are that that much sound can come from one sub!!! any way he got a littel over excited and one of the guys leanign in the truck got an instant earach. when he pulled his body out of the truck he SLAMED the door, the stress of this on the window fram cracked the glass in several places( i was setting up the drag lanes and saw it all)all at once glass shot away from the truck and the plastic layer just crumpled in on its self. it looked really cool and impressed the hell out of all the guys at the event. (I sold a lot of stuff to them) it wasent souly the speaker but it wouldent of happend if it was not pressureizing the cab so much!!! i still cant live that down. Every once and a while one of thouse guys comes back to town with collage buddys and I here "Hey that the guy that plew up his window with his sterio"
I guess if you have to be know as something that not bad. Huh?

Well, I am not saying your not telling the truth. I have seen windows break. And I have even seen one blow out onto the hood. But that was with around 5-12 thousand watts and lots of cone area. My daily driver hits low to mid 50's and all I have ever done is tweek the seal three times. You must have had a very bad window seal...

Well i've seen a windshield crack from just
driving (manufacturor defect in the
windshield frame). So if the windshield
was old and the frame had a sharp point on
it then it could have happened. I would
have liked to have seen it, thats for
sure.

I dont know about it actually "blowing"
the windshield out though, cracking it all
to hell i find easier to believe.
