Ok..here's the dillio. I just got a new used car(96 mitsubishi galant) and am in the process of putting all my stereo gear from my old car into it. Here's where it gets fun.
Apparently at some point in time this car had a premium sound system w/the subwoofer. All the OEM wiring, plugs, etc etc are still there. And double apparently there are hidden high pass filters in the OEM speaker wiring. I wanna rewire it. I got myself like 3 miles of LA Strike 16 ga for my oh so humble front stage to rewire my 6 1/2's in the doors... I am doing this in my backyard with nowhere near an adequate tool supply because I um. can't afford tools and can't justify paying to have the same gear installed in 2 cars in 3 months time...Anyway. Any tricks/tips to make running the wiring through the OEM lil flexy tubey thingies easier? So far all I've managed to do is piss myself off and cut my hands very badly trying. Any tips on making door panel replacement easier? See above. Anybody know where I can find a g@#$*$@ haynes or chiltons manual for this thing btw? cuz i can't find them...or a new alternator locally to save my life. Thanks.

Try tapeing the speaker wire to a piece of wire/coathanger and slip her through. As for manuals check all auto parts places, the library works well too. Hope this helps
