I have a Blaupunkt PA2200 amplifier. I got it installed and running. I wanted to see how it would push my Infinity Perfect, so I REALLY turned it up. It was playing VERY nicely, then it suddenly cut out on me.
Now, the blue light on top just flashes (instead of staying solid). I tried disconnecting all the wiring, then plugging it back in. It won't turn on at all. Even if all that is plugged in is power, ground and the remote wire. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

what gauge wire are you running? i had the same problem with my lightning audio 2 weeks ago. every time a bass note hits..the amp's "power" light would just dim. i had a 12 gauge power wire. it was previously used for my cheaper amp. i upgraded to an 8 gauge power cable and everything was fine.

yea. same with my lightning audio. it goes into protection mode. before that...it'll just make a pop and go off. upgrade to new wires. thats what i did and then the problem is solved. hope this helps.

I've probably blown more amps than you've owned! Anyway maybe when he doe's get it resolved, he could try bigger wire. I have put lot's of amps into protection mode, and I use 4 awg to my amps outtta the 1/0 awg distro block, so I still don't see if that is even relative. Usually protection mode =service required as (already stated). Thanks keep on bumpin
