Are you runing the amp Stereo now at the 8 ohms? Bridge the amp to one chanle and runt the subs paralle at 4 ohms. Befor with the 2 chanle at 8 ohms you where geting close to 40 watts maybe per sub but with the 4ohms mono load the amp has a 250satt out put buy the book but you and I know that that is closer to 300 to 350 watts buy the birth sheet. Giving you the 150 watts you want. The bith sheet is a bit misleeding at times. The watt rating at 2 ohms is the two chanles total seperet power added together. The mono load has a similar output power. Your situation is why there are 8 ohm sub out there. To get that 4ohm load in a momo config. Most amps are only going to be 4 ohm stable momo. Here are the stats right off the RF web page
http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/products/1999/amps/punch_250a2.html

quote:

RMS Power (4 ohms) 62.5W x 2
RMS Power (2 ohms) 125W x 2
RMS Power Bridged/Mono 250W x 1
Stable Into (stereo/mono) 2 ohms / 4 ohms
