Ok. My ol' college bud has an Mitsu. Eclipse with tape/cd-changer in rear and "6" speaker infinity soundsystem stock. 5x7s or 6x9s (haven't take a real close look yet) in the rear alongside the seats (going verticle). One of them is rattling. I'm going to take a look at it this weekend, but to prepare myself, has anyone had a problem with Eclipse stock infinity systems? Tweeters rattling loose, paneling, grilles? Thank you.

One of my friends got a 1996 Eagle Talon with a system professionally installed for her 16th birthday from her dad..
She said she was hearing a funny sound in her car when she played a song with a lot of bass so she asked me what was wrong with her speakers
so when I was looking at her car and I put my hand on the rear side panels where it was vibrating it stopped..
so I guess it's the same problem..
What I did to fix it was to tighten all the screws inside the side panel that I could find and then I stuffed the entire area around each speaker and behind the panel with a couple of rolls of paper towels.. and then put the cover back on..
this fixed it perfectly find for about $2
