Hey, i dont know if you remember my question on the PG board Tech, it was about my P.O.S. LA Sound Laguna 190 amp that i burned out running subs in high pass mode. I have the amplifire open exposeing the components now. The two transistors i burned out are i think bi-polar ones. their number on the board is Q-27 and Q-9. I doubt if that helps unless someone has a schematic for this amp. I will now go into detail explaining where they are located on the board.
With the amp upside-down, the inputs on the left side, outputs and power on the right side. Power wire comes out of the right side on the lower half of the amp. You have the two large caps that are 600uf 50 wv. There is a large coil kinda in-between them. Almost directly to the left of the two damaged transistors, are a pair of power resistors that are white and are rated at 3WO. There is a small polarized .47uf cap that might need to be replaced as the cover on it is a bit brown. There are two of them, located directly next to the transistors on both sides. I think like everything is duplicated on this probably being a 2 channel amp. I duno if this explains it well enough, but if you have any questions just ask.
