MY ALTERNATERS KEPP ON BLOWING I HAVE A THREE YEAR WARANTY ON IT AND I HAVE WENT THREW GOING ON MY TENTH ONE IN NOT EVEN A YEAR WHAT DO YOU THINK IT IS PLEASE HELP ME

Belts not properly tightened (too tight maybe), alignment is off, poor build quality (what brand is it?), excessive heat in your engine compartment, or just plain gremlins.

It could be lots of things, but if you know the belts are not too tight, and everything is aligned, and you don't think it's heat, then you may want to try another BRAND of alternator.

is oil or power steering fluid getting on it?
Do the bearings go out or diodes blow? Is your battery good? Wiring Good?

I also have a similar problem. 1992 Bonneville, on alt #8, Lifetime warranty, so I don't care, but would like to fix the problem.

What's my system. A measly 300 watt RMS jensen amp. Yeap, that's it. I also have 2 farads worth of caps (Kinda bad when your power system is worth more than your amp )
