I have a PPI art series A600.2 which I've been running at 2ohm mono for about 2 months. Just recently it started to "cut-out" after 5 minutes of playing... (This is wired at 8ohm mono now) The Power/mute LED stays on when it is playing, then starts to flicker and finally turns red. Is there something wrong with the amp??

It has been a while since I messed with the art series amps, but I would check connections,(ground, power and remote) and check voltages on power and remote at the amp. If all is well, and the speakers are fine, the amp may be giving out on you.
