at medium volumes......
i have an SS 500sx ... it has 2 x 25A fuses.... at 2 ohm there wor no problem... but when i got my second sub and loaded the amp with 1 ohm .... the fuses burn.... i have 2 SS usa 12" they are dual 4 ohm....
I have 2ga wire from the battery to powerblock and from there 4ga 12" to amp...
i dont know how old the battery is....
will a cap help me....

I would suggest just upgrading the fused to 30 amp ones and see if that helps. Sometimes the ones from the manufacturer wont allow the amp to produce at its full potential.

Ive seen some of the SS amps blow on really low loads. Using the REF series and not the class As I suggest trying to run 2 ohm stereo, one sub per channel and seeing how that works. That should fix the fuse problem while keeping the amp at a safe load.

i firt rewired the amp into 2 ohm stereo..... i dropped alot in dB's....

and then i changed from 2 x 25A to 2 x 30A ..... it worked!!!! i have burped like 50 times .... still works fine....
