I WAS RECENTLY INSTALLING DOOR SPEAKERS IN MY 87 MERCURY COUGAR. I INSTALLED THE LEFT ONE AND IT WORKS FINE. THE LEFT DOOR SPEAKER HOWEVER IS NOT RECIEVING ANY POWER AT ALL. I CHECKED THE CONNECTIONS AND THE WIRES ALL ALL CONNECTED FINE. I DON'T KNOW HOW TO GET POWER TO THE LEFT ONE. I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT IF SOMEONE COULD GIVE ME A SUGGESTION. EMAIL: VENANCIOMEJIA@HOTMAIL.COM THANKS

do you have an aftermarket head unit? IF so, check the connections behind the deck, to make sure the ones for that door are making a good connection. If they are, I would hook the speaker up straight to the deck wiring there, to see if the head has any output on that channel.
