Ok i have a few questions for ya:
1. I am doing an install in my boat, I am putting 1 12" sub under the passenger side fold up seat. Someone said to me that I should use a ported box, with the subs facing the ground at a 45 degree angle is this right? But I don't have enough room for a ported box, is sealed ok? I know sealed isnt as load but room is limited. Does anyone have box idea, it is a small place to put subs but I think I can get them in there.
2. The radio in the boat doesn't have rca outputs, how do I wire the amp from the speakers?
3. Is there anything special that I should do for the subs so they won't get ruined, they are plastic cones, so they wont get wet.
4. Is there anything you think that I shoud do that I haven't talked about.

Thanks Tom

PS. The amp will be in a waterproof tank that is already in the boat. The boat is a 18'(I think) Four Wins. Sorry for the long post.
