Alright, I know everyone and their brother has complained of popping subs. But i think this is different.

It may just very well be the cd player, cause it a fairly ghetto one, but i figured it wouldnt hurt to ask some others.

When i have my subs hooked up and i turn on the cd player low sorta "thump" comes out, its a real bottmy noise. not what you want to hear from your subs. It keeps thumping consistently, and gets louder depending on how i configure my rca lines into the amp.
Anybody got a clue???

Does the music continue to play the whole time? If not I would think maybe a lose tensel. If it does then I would start with rca's

Yes the music plays, but it has the thumping throughout it. ITs not in my high's but if I put that RCa cable into the amp for my subs it still does it. IM fairly sure its not the amp, cause it always worked fine in my rooom.

My system does the same thing, but not when the music is playing. How long has it been doing this? Have you changed anything and it did it, or did it just start doing it all of a sudden? It could be the HU.

It started out doing the noise. Its an HU that we kinda pass aroung our freinds until we get one. MOst of the time it doesn it while ther is music but sometimes its either not noticable or it stops.
